Draymond Green has missed the Golden State Warriors' last four games as he recuperates from a shoulder injury.

The feeling of helplessness hasn't sit well with the competitive side of Green, but Warriors general manager Bob Myers is praising the do-it-all forward for his mature approach toward the situation, per Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

“He wanted to play today, but he's being cautious,” Myers said Wednesday afternoon in an interview on 95.7 The Game. “I'd expect him back on Friday (against the Lakers) or Saturday (against the Nuggets). Earlier in his career, he probably wouldn't have told us about this injury, but he's smarter now.”

During Green's absence, rookie Jordan Bell has picked up the intensity and he's been making the most of the opportunity. The rookie big man has averaged 7.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks over the Warriors' past four games.

Fortunately for Golden State, its roster boasts of a plethora of players ready to contribute to support superstar forward Kevin Durant who's been doing some heavy lifting as of late as Stephen Curry is also sidelined with an injury.

The breeze in the Bay Area is still without any whiff of concern, though. The Warriors are too good to panic this early as they know that they're built for the long grind come postseason.
