Two-time league MVP Stephen Curry made his return to the court on Saturday night for the Golden State Warriors after an 11-game absence putting together a highly efficient performance against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Curry was productive in his limited action scoring a game-high 38 points on 13-of-17 shooting from the field including knocking 10 three-pointers. Following the contest, head coach Steve Kerr voiced much appreciation for the type of impact that he has on the team, according to The Score.

“You could hear the building tonight. Everything just looks better. The food in there is going to taste better tonight. My wife's gonna be even better looking than she already is. My kids are going to be happy. Steph just has that kind of impact.”

Although there is much sarcasm in Kerr's comments, there is much truth to what he stated. The Warriors are the league's most explosive offense with him in the mix as he allows the other players on the team better scoring opportunities. This particularly benefits Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to get better looks with opposing teams tracking where Curry is on the floor.

His impact was immediately shown as the Warriors scored 141 points without the need of overtime with Curry leading the way offensively. This also saw a pair of 20-point outings from both Durant and Thompson while Zaza Pachulia notched a season-best 17 points. Golden State shot 58.8 percent from the field, 54.5 percent from 3-point range and dished out 36 assists against the Grizzlies.

With the Warriors back in full force, it could see them make a serious push to gain separation in the Western Conference.
