Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal had the last laugh or rather wink in their matchup against the Golden State Warriors yesterday.

Beal's wink was directed at Warriors big man Draymond Green, per Mike DePrisco of NBC Sports Washington.

“It was Draymond [Green],” Beal disclosed. “The play before, he blocked my shot and I kind of traveled, so we were talking about that when Steph was at the line. Ironic that I ended up making that shot so it was kind of a ‘he owed me one.”

Green made a key defensive stop against Beal inside the paint earlier. Despite this, there was enough time for Beal to hit a tough corner three while falling away in the game's dying seconds. The Wizards came out on top, 110-107.

In that game, Beal had a relatively quiet 20 points and added three boards and six dimes. He was one out of five from deep, but what a time to hit that one three. Meanwhile, Green had his typical game of stuffing the stat sheet with five points, five rebounds, eight assists, three steals, and a pair of blocks.

As topsy-turvy the season has been for the Wizards, including Beal trade rumors, they still have a shot at making the play-in. Currently, they are thirteenth in the Eastern Conference with a 19-32 record.

If the team gets a few winning streaks going, Beal stays healthy, and Russel Westbrook continues to put up triple-doubles, then the Wizards just might be a surprise in the postseason.
