Over the summer, Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall said the team should be included among the elite teams in the Eastern Conference. For the past few seasons, Wall and the franchise have been the national media’s dark-horse East team that could make a run to the Finals. Year after year, however, Washington has failed to reach those expectations and Brooklyn Nets forward Jared Dudley says it's time for the Wizards to make some changes and break up the core.
The Nets defeated the Wizards on Friday by a final score of 115-104. Jared Dudley, who actually played one season with the Wizards, believes the players on Washington have been together for too long.

“I think (they have) good players, but sometimes, good players need different situations. For them, I think that it’s tough the way the league is changing. They play two bigs. In this day in age, Otto [Porter] needs to play more four because he’s tall enough, more spacing.”
The Wizards are currently 5-10 on the season. They have the second-worst defense in the NBA, as the team is giving up a whopping 116.7 points per game. To make matters even worse, John Wall and Bradley Beal have already called out guys on the roster for playing selfish.
Things in the nation's capital aren't good right now. Jared Dudley is 100 percent correct. This Washington team just doesn't look like they enjoy playing with one another. It's time for the front office to embark on a rebuild and start from scratch.
