Washington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas was unceremoniously ejected from Friday night's home bout against the Portland Trail Blazers just 90 seconds into the game.
The veteran floor general — a two-time All-Star with the Boston Celtics — lost his cool while tied up with Carmelo Anthony. Thomas, possibly inadvertently, then made contact with an NBA official.
The referee immediately ejected the 30-year-old Thomas after getting bumped (via Bleacher Report).

Isaiah Thomas' departure from Friday's game is a serious blow to the Wizards' chances of beating Damian Lillard and the Blazers. Washington is without All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal, who is sidelined with lower right leg soreness.
Thomas is one of the only scoring threats for the Wizards in the lineup due to John Wall's continued absence (he'll likely not appear for D.C. this season). Entering friday, IT is averaging 13.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 41.5 percent from deep and 85.1 percent from the free-throw line.
The rest of the team is made up of fringe NBA players and G League call-ups like Hall of Fame point guard Gary Payton's son, Gary Payton II.
