Kansas State fans likely feel as though they have reason to be upset this week. During the team's against Vanderbilt, a touchdown was called back by the officials. As it currently sits, the SEC and Big 12 comment that they will make no comments regarding the review of the play.
Let's get the semantics out of the way first. Here is the play in question:
Woahhh I thought this was a TD for Kendall Adams….#KStateFB pic.twitter.com/3TmSQV10CM

I am with the tweeter here, as I too believed this to be a touchdown. Or at the minimal, there wasn't enough to alter the original call. I don't know, I'm not a ref! Alas, my opinion on this matter counts as much as the points in Who's Line Is It Anyway.
Hooray, outdated references!
“We will not be making any sort of public statement,” SEC director of communications Chuck Dunlap said in an e-mail, as transcribed by The Wichita Eagle. “… We have discussed that review decision with the (Big 12), and they would communicate any sort of explanation/rule (interpretation) back to the Kansas State coaching staff.”
“Our discussions with coaches on officiating matters are private conversations,” said Big 12 associate commissioner of communications Bob Burda.
Kansas State coach, Bill Synder, recently said he wanted an explanation on the call, but he was forced to wait because two difference conferences — the SEC and Big 12 — were involved.
A Big 12 officiating crew were the ones responsible for the stuff happening on the field, as they were literally on it themselves. SEC officials handled reviews in the conference’s centralized replay command center in Birmingham, Ala.
This is unfortunately, at least for K-State fans, an is what it is situation. There's no overturning this call at this point. Still, we can all be angry together!
