Samuel M'Pemba is an elite football recruit ranking as one of the top prospects from the 2023 class. He's coming out of IMG Academy, the world-renowned school from Florida known for its high-end development of sports prospects.
He's a five-star prospect rankings as the 26th prospect in the entire country, the third for his position, and the sixth ranked prospect out of the state of Florida, based off the composite rankings via 247Sports.
The 6-foot-3 and a half edge rusher comes in at 240 pounds and projects to be an immediate impact player at the college level with clear NFL upside, which explains the heavy hitters that compose his final list of options for his school.
M'Pemba has reportedly taken two visits to Georgia, one in April and an unofficial visit this past June. The only other school he's said to have visited this past summer was Tennessee.
Notre Dame were considered the favorites to land Samuel M'Pemba not too long ago, but have received stiff competition for the five-star stud. The upside for the Irish is that he's not planning to make a decision anytime soon, as he's pushed their June weekend visit and rescheduled it to November, when they face off against Clemson.
