Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania. These are the two biggest names in the NBA today in terms of providing the biggest insider scoops in the most timely manner. Sometimes, Woj and Shams get their information even before the players do. Just ask Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant.

In a recent episode of his podcast, The ETC's, Durant drew from his own personal experience with Shams as he explained why he has come to the logical conclusion that Charania is indeed an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency:

“Shams a creep, yo! I remember Shams — Shams now, you never know where he is, yo, cause you can wear a mask now,” the Nets veteran said, via Robby Kalland of Uproxx. This motherf*cker’s probably outside the house. But Shams, I don’t know how he gets this info, but he, I mean, he said I was in the car with no mask and we went back-and-forth, back-and-forth, and I was like, sh*t.

“That’s some crazy news to break, Shams. That’s crazy news to break, man, when you’ve been doing the Draft for the last 5 years. He goes smack to the White House. … He’s some type of Central Intelligence, bro. He’s got something at the crib, gadgets. His basement is full of sh*t. This man is locked in, with all respect.”

Needless to say, even players like the Nets star are left in awe as to how Shams gets a hold of the most private of information. Nothing gets past his watchful eye.

This fact becomes quite a nuisance for NBA players, and based on his statement above — albeit expressed in jest — it is clear Durant does have a bit of a bone to pick with Shams Charania.
