Like many other basketball fans around the world, Brooklyn Nets superstar small forward Kevin Durant saw the 3-point shot that Thomas Lee hit in the closing minutes of Jackson State’s recent win over UAPB.

“Snacks,” as Lee is affectionately known among his peers and teammates, is actually the student manager for Jackson State. He had never checked in to a game before, but with the game already determined, he suited up for the last two minutes and made a shot from well beyond the arc.

Now, “Snacks” is a hit everywhere he goes and he even has a signed Durant Nets jersey:

This is what sports is all about. Durant, who has a lot of free time this season since he's rehabbing his Achilles tear, did a great thing by sending “Snacks” a signed jersey. It's a moment he won't ever forget.

A 10-time All-Star and former MVP, Durant has career NBA averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 849 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. He will make his Nets debut next season and Brooklyn fans can't wait to see KD out there on the court competing with Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan by his side.

The Nets are hoping Durant and Irving can bring a championship to Brooklyn. Both players have Finals experience under their belts, as well as rings. Irving won his with the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2016, while Durant won two with the Warriors.
