With the release date for Harrison Ford's final installment as beloved archeologist-adventurer Indiana Jones now less than a month away, the studio has unveiled seven new character posters for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, offering a few glimpses at potential plot points.

The posters feature individual close-ups of the seven main characters in this fifth installment of the blockbuster franchise: Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones; Phoebe Waller-Bridge (of Fleabag fame) as Helena Shaw — Indiana Jones' goddaughter; Mad Mikkelsen as Nazi scientist (and Jones' adversary) Jürgen Voller; Antonio Banderas, who according to his character description plays an old friend named Renaldo, but looks like Popeye going through a midlife crisis; Shaunette Renée Wilson as Mason; Ethann Isidore as Teddy Kumar, a teenage friend of Helena Shaw; and Toby Jones, giving off some serious “Great scott!” vibes with his Dr. Emmett Brown hair, yet playing Basil Shaw.

The posters somehow manage to feel both modern and nostalgic, in keeping with the tone of the trailer. The film, directed by James Mangold, will be the first in the franchise to not be directed by Steven Spielberg, as well as the first to not have a story written or co-written by George Lucas.

The main plot hints stem from the Mason photo. Not much is known about her character, although Renée Wilson has hinted in an interview that her role may have a governmental connection, as she referenced the fact that in the 1960s the CIA and FBI recruited Black agents to do undercover spy work. Her suspicious stare down in the poster certainly gives off some spy vibes, but it remains to be seen how this ties in to the plot with the Dial of Destiny.
