Tua Tagovailoa is one of the big-name quarterbacks coming in the 2020 NFL Draft class. However, he also comes in with plenty of questions.

The team who will likely select the Alabama stalwart will have to face doubts over his condition. Injuries have hurt his draft stock drastically that Tagovailoa himself has come out to address concerns about his condition.

Tagovailoa talked to the press on top of holding a makeshift Pro Day to show NFL scouts his condition. According to an ESPN piece, he dismissed injury concerns by pointing out the obvious: football is a physical sport and injuries are unavoidable.

“I'm not playing badminton. I'm not on the swim team,” the highly rated NFL prospect said during an Instagram Live show with Mike Locksley, his former offensive coordinator with the Crimson Tide and the current head coach at Maryland.

“[Football] is a physical sport. You're gonna get hurt. That just comes with it. And it was just very unfortunate that I got hurt every season. It's a part of the game. It's a contact sport. I can only control what I can control. I can't control that.”

It's not a great argument for the Hawaii native, but he's counting on his ability to convince teams to get him picked high in the draft. In his three years with the Crimson Tide, Tua Tagovailoa notched 7,442 passing yards and 87 touchdowns. If he managed to play the remainder of the season, he would have easily matched his impressive sophomore season with the Tide.

His Pro Day definitely showed NFL teams that he can throw the football, but doubts about his health still remain. His health is the wild card that can see him go from Top 3 to being a second- or third-round selection. He hopes that his makeshift Pro Day would have cleared some doubts surrounding him.
