Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald has already won a pair of NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards, so it's no surprise he is considered one of the frontrunners to win another one.

As a matter of fact, MGM has Donald listed as the betting favorite to take home the honor in 2020, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

Donald is given +750 odds to win the award. Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack is second at +1000, and Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt follows in third place at +1250.

Should Donald capture the award again, he would join Watt and legendary New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor as the only players in NFL history to do it three times.

The 29-year-old is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he played every game and registered 48 tackles, 12.5 sacks, a couple of forced fumbles and a fumble recovery en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Donald, who played his collegiate football at the University of Pittsburgh, was originally selected by the Rams in the first round (13th pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

It didn't take Donald long to assert himself as one of the league's best defensive players, as he totaled 48 tackles, nine sacks and two forced fumbles during his rookie year, making the Pro Bowl.

Over the first six years of his career, Donald has made the Pro Bowl every season and has also notched First-Team All-Pro honors five times in a row. In 2018, the Pittsburgh native led the NFL with 20.5 sacks.
