After three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, one-time All-Pro running back Chris Johnson is looking for a job in the NFL and that may have gotten that much harder after a recent off-the-field incident.

According to ESPN, Johnson is currently facing a battery charge with video evidence of the incident.

Free-agent running back Chris Johnson faces a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an incident on April 9 in Tampa, Florida, according to online court records.

With Johnson looking for a new team in the NFL, this is obviously not a good look for a veteran back over 30 on the downside of his career. Although Johnson had somewhat of a resurgence with the Cardinals in 2015, he has been unable to get back to form the last two seasons which has led to him remaining in limbo in NFL free agency.

The 32-year-old has reportedly pled not guilty to these charges against him, according to WFTS-TV.

Chris Johnson entered a plea of not guilty through his attorney in a Hillsborough County courtroom on Thursday.

TMZ Sports got a copy of the video of the incident between Johnson and the alleged victim. It's hard to make out exactly what went down, but it's no surprise the victim would press charges.

It'll be interesting to see how things unfold for Johnson as his career in the NFL is likely on the line. The three-time Pro Bowler has played for three teams during his career with stints with the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets before he landed in Arizona.
