Since his retirement from the NBA, former Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant has stayed busy with ventures in his career post his playing days.

Bryant has now included another future Hall of Famer in one of his ventures as former NFL star quarterback Peyton Manning is set to join him on his ESPN+ show “Detail” to break down NFL games in a similar manner to what he has done with his respective sport.

Manning is one of the most respected and revered players in NFL history that has garnered a huge reputation for his dedication to the craft along with his attention to detail. This is a chance for him to showcase that in the show where he can breakdown plays to minute details with coverages and tendencies that can see take place on any play on both sides of the ball. Manning was one of the most thorough players in this process that should be able to be shown through this process in a similar way that Bryant has done with his breaking down of players' film.

There is likely much that can be learned from what he sees that could not only largely inform the casual fan but some takeaways for current NFL quarterback looking to see what it takes to get that extra edge in the preparation and dissection process of opposing defenses and formations. This is something that could quickly take off as a highly marketable and entertaining show given what Manning will be able to display.

Beyond that, it is an intriguing move that now will have two of the most bright players in their respective sports showing a part of themselves that helped push their respective games to greater heights. This simply gives insight to what makes these all-time great players tick and succeed.
