Former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL All-Pro running back Ricky Williams is expanding his marijuana business. He reportedly has created a new strain of marijuana, called “Sticky Ricky.”

In the fall of 2021, Williams launched his own cannabis brand, Highsman. As TMZ Sports reports, Williams is reportedly linking up with Jeeter with all of the proceeds going to support a great cause. 100 percent of the proceeds from the collaboration between companies will go to support the charity “Athletes For Care.”

“Athletes For Care” was created by former athletes looking to help and improve both the physical and mental well-being of athletes. It is a non-profit organization.

Williams was the poster child in the NFL for the league's crackdown on marijuana early this century. He was suspended five times over the course of his 11-year pro career. The suspensions caused him to miss two entire seasons, along with a number of other games.

Despite missing so much action, Williams finished his career rushing for over 10,000 yards and 68 rushing touchdowns. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2002, when he also reached the Pro Bowl. Williams spent the majority of his playing career with the Miami Dolphins.

Williams, alongside Auburn Tiger tailback Ronnie Brown, were part of one of the first offenses to install the triple option that has become much more popular in the game today.
