Jamal Adams has reached the tipping point with the New York Jets and has requested to be traded on Thursday. Following his request to be traded, the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys are two of the seven teams Adams would be interested in joining, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Seeing that the Chiefs still have to pay Patrick Mahomes and don't have much cap space, they likely don't have room to add Adams. With that being said, you can never say never when it comes to trades in the NFL.

On the other hand, the most logical landing spot for Adams is the Cowboys. Adams, who was born in Lewisville, Texas, was open to the idea of being sent to Dallas ahead of last year's trade deadline.

However, talks between the Cowboys and the Jets fell through as the deadline passed. Given his interest in joining Dallas, the Cowboys should make an irrefutable offer for the All-Pro safety.

In addition to the Cowboys and Chiefs, some other notable teams are the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles. If the Ravens were able to acquire Adams, they would field a secondary that features Marlon Humphrey, Earl Thomas, and Marcus Peters alongside him.

Lastly, the Eagles are known to be a team that isn't afraid to make aggressive moves via trade. Earlier this offseason, Philadelphia landed Darius Slay from the Detroit Lions and handed him a lucrative extension.

Despite Adams wanting to be traded, the ball is in New York's court due to him having two years remaining on his rookie contract. But if the Jets appease his demands, then Adams made it clear where he'd prefer to be traded to.
