Jalen Ramsey has been mentioned in trade rumors ever since the Los Angeles Rams' season ended, and apparently, his departure from the team is a real possibility.

Ramsey's contract and $25.2 million cap hit make him an ideal candidate to be moved, and after the Rams' poor season when they finished with a 5-12 record, an NFL executive believes the team could consider moving him elsewhere.

“[Ramsey] is one I think the Rams will at least explore [moving]. He's still a top guy, but the play has fallen off a little bit and [he] could use a change of scenery,” an anonymous AFC personnel director told ESPN.

Jalen Ramsey may have seen his performance decline in the 2022 season, but it's worth noting that he's a Pro Bowler for five straight seasons from 2017 to 2021. And at just 28 years old, he certainly still has plenty left in his tank. With that said, it definitely won't be a problem for the Rams to move him if they decide to do so.

Additionally, Ramsey did hint recently that he's looking to be traded, sharing some cryptic tweets that got everyone talking. In one of his now-deleted posts, he said, “Ya’ll twitter GMs be talkin all that trade shid, gone be f**ked up if it happen fr, better be careful what you wish for. Best corner to walk into 2 organizations & that’s a fact!”

It remains to be seen what the Rams and Ramsey plan to do, though it's definitely something worth keeping an eye on as Los Angeles navigates a difficult offseason.
