Aaron Rodgers’ future is unclear at the moment. He’s still in the process of deciding whether or not he will continue playing in 2023. A Green Bay Packers’ trade is also a possibility. NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed where the Packers will not trade Aaron Rodgers on SportsCenter, via Dov Kleiman.
“I don’t think there’s anyway the Packers would trade him in the NFC,” Schefter said. “And if they do go ahead and trade him, it would be to the AFC.”

Schefter then joked that Rodgers will begin to be linked to various AFC teams in need of quarterbacks.
Aaron Rodgers previously stated that he believes he can still play at an MVP level. However, he questioned whether or not Green Bay is the best situation for him.
“I think I can win MVP again in the right situation,” Rodgers said. “Right situation, is that in Green Bay or somewhere else? I’m not sure.”
That comment alone led to no shortage of trade rumors. But the fact of the matter is that he still very well may return to Green Bay in 2023. There was an underlying expectation that he could be traded last offseason. But that clearly never came to fruition.
There are no guarantees in reference to Rodgers or the Packers’ future. But Green Bay has QB Jordan Love waiting in the wings if they trade Aaron Rodgers or he calls it a career.
We will continue to monitor and provide updates on this situation as they are made available.
