The Miami Dolphins – Houston Texans trade talks surrounding Deshaun Watson have been circulating around since the summer. Watson had made it clear he wanted out of Houston, then shortly after all hell broke loose as he was accused by over 20 woman of sexual assault.
Watson hasn't played a single down for the Texans this year even though he isn't currently suspended. Now, per Mark Berman of Fox 26 and via the Houston Chronicle, Houston is trying to finalize a deal that would send shock waves through the league by sending Watson to the Dolphins.
#Texans are working toward a potential deal that would send Deshaun Watson to the Miami Dolphins that could get done this week. If not this week they still hope they can get it done before the Nov 2 trade deadline.

While it's been a slow start for the Dolphins, they just got their second-year quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, back from injury. If the reports are true it's a big indication and a clear sign that Miami isn't buying into their former first-round selection even though it's still really early on in his career.
For the Texans, they are in a complete rebuild whether they admit it or not. They've cut ties with veterans already this season like Whitney Mercilus and with Watson sitting out and his career really foggy at the moment, trading him for picks and maybe even getting Tagovailoa back would be considered somewhat of a positive for the franchise.
While his off-the-field allegations are still yet to be resolved, if Watson is traded from the Texans to the Dolphins, he would be eligible to play right away from Miami. The only thing to wait for now is to see if a deal comes together.
