Arizona Cardinals' defensive lineman JJ Watt offered his thoughts on a rollercoaster start to the NFL's 2022-23 league year on Monday.

Watt tweeted “NFL is pretty crazy huh” following another major shift to the league's equilibrium. The Miami Dolphins traded for Tyreek Hill following reports that the receiver's contract negotiations with the Chiefs had broken down. The six-time Pro Bowler became the latest in a long line of superstars who will don new jerseys this season.

Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Hill is the ninth Pro Bowler who has been traded this offseason. Those nine players have 39 combined Pro Bowl selections amongst them. Russell Wilson, Davante Adams, and Deshaun Watson are among the big names who have been traded in recent days, along with Hill. Not to mention the typical marquee free agent signings like Terron Armstead, Von Miller and Chandler Jones.

Oh, and some quarterback un-retired. Breaking news is becoming commonplace these days.

JJ Watt's Cardinals, meanwhile, have been quiet since the new league year kicked off on March 16th. With the past week's chaos, it feels like eons since reports emerged that Kyler Murray may be unhappy in Arizona.

But with the Cardinals' disappointing Wildcard Round exit in this past year's playoffs, they haven't made any splashes that could move them to the ‘Super Bowl contender' category of teams. JJ Watt lost his best defensive line counterpart in Chandler Jones to Las Vegas via free agency. And on the offensive side of the ball, Christian Kirk and Chase Edmonds both headed to Florida to join the Jaguars and Dolphins, respectively.

JJ Watt is surely hoping for a big splash in the #RedSea next.
