Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank says he hopes quarterback Matt Ryan will be part of the team's future moving forward after he fired head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff on Sunday.
However, Blank says Ryan's future with the Falcons won't be a decision that he makes, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Arthur Blank asked about Matt Ryan's future with the #Falcons: "I love Matt. … I hope he's going to be part of our plans going forward but that won't be a decision I make." Also says the decision will be "partly up to the player."

The Falcons are 0-5 on the 2020 season. They have lost to the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers.
Atlanta should have defeated the Cowboys and Bears, but the club choked in both games.
Article Continues BelowThis is the first time in Matt Ryan's Hall of Fame career he has started 0-5. The former MVP has thrown for 1,472 yards on the season and seven touchdowns. However, his three interceptions have all come at critical junctures for the Falcons, who are well on their way to missing the playoffs for the third straight season.
In May of 2018, Ryan signed a five-year, $150 million contract extension with the Falcons. He's set to become a free agent in 2024.
Ryan is the best quarterback in Atlanta franchise history. However, the former Boston College star and the entire Falcons team hasn't been the same since Atlanta blew a 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI.
Mentally, the Falcons haven't been able to recover from that epic collapse.
