The Atlanta Falcons have widened their lead over the Minnesota Vikings in the third quarter — and are on the verge of winning their first game of the season.

With minutes remaining in the third quarter, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan threw a specular touchdown pass to Julio Jones, extending their lead to 23 points.

Ryan has played spectacular today against the Vikings, as he currently has 331 passing yards and three touchdowns . Not only has Ryan gone off today, but so has Julio Jones. Jones currently has 7 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

If the Falcons are able to hold their lead in the fourth quarter, this is will be their first win of the season. They've had some heartbreaking losses this season, so hopefully, this win will be able to motivate them. The Falcons are currently the fourth seed in the NFC South.
