The Baltimore Ravens were plagued with injuries last season, so the franchise is hopeful the team will bounce back. Regardless, this roster is stacked with talent and will only improve through draft weekend. We take a look at some of our bold Ravens predictions with the 2022 NFL Draft in mind.

Considering JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards fell to serious knee injuries last year, the front office might consider adding another running back to the group. They've been in talks with Melvin Gordon, however, we could see the Ravens select a rookie running back in the NFL Draft. If Baltimore can acquire a talented rookie prospect, then the offense may be firing on all cylinders next season.

Even so, most of the issues lie on the defensive side of the ball. This unit needs some help on the offensive line and the secondary. Luckily for the Ravens, they have seven draft picks in rounds three through four. Additionally, Baltimore could massively improve the defense line in the first two rounds.

With that said, here are three bold Ravens predictions for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Ravens Predictions for 2022 NFL Draft

3. The front office surprisingly selects a rookie running back in round four

JK Dobbins is likely to hold down the starting role, but it's not clear whether or not he'll be capable of handling a full workload. With Gus Edwards also returning from a knee injury, it might be smart for Baltimore to bring in another talented running back just in case.

Tyson Williams was unable to provide the consistency the Ravens needed to succeed and the front office ran through multiple veterans throughout the season. Additionally, this team has multiple picks in rounds three and four, making it extremely plausible Baltimore selects a running back in the NFL Draft.

2. Baltimore loads up with multiple depth pieces for the defense

With seven picks in the third and fourth rounds, Baltimore has the opportunity to line their roster with solid depth. The Ravens need to add youth to the roster, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Additionally, the front office doesn't have to select a rookie with each of the seven picks, as they could aim to trade them for future assets in 2023 as well.

The best decision for the Ravens will be to bring in multiple prospects in the third and fourth rounds. Baltimore has a history of drafting well and developing their players. If that holds true, this roster could be loaded with future stars in the next couple of years.

1. Ravens stack the defensive line within the first two rounds of the NFL Draft

Baltimore needs to emphasize adding youth to the defensive line. The current group is a bit on the older side and it's time for this unit to get younger in the front seven. The Ravens can address this issue immediately in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft. If they can do that, then this team will be primed for a potential NFC North Divisional Championship.

With their first two picks, the Ravens can get someone like Devonte Wyatt in the first round, while acquiring Nik Bonitto in round two. These two prospects give Baltimore some serious talent within the interior and exterior defensive line. This would be the best-case scenario, as Wyatt and Bonitto would likely thrive in this defensive scheme.
