It's not easy to hold a job as a running back in the NFL these days. The abundance of younger backs allows teams to cut ties with middling runners just as their prime ends.
Like many before him, Justin Forsett suffered that fate last week. The Baltimore Ravens cut Forsett, putting him on the free agent market a quarter of the way through the season.
To his credit, Forsett hasn't given up hope. In fact, he's actively lobbying for a new job on his Twitter account:
Officially on the job hunt: Anyone know of anybody looking for a 3 down back w/ great movement skills who's also freakishly good looking lol

That's quite the resume, Justin.
Through three starts this season, Forsett averaged 3.2 yards per carry. But, it was only two years ago that he finished with 1,266 yards and a 5.4 yards per carry average.
As injuries pile up throughout the season, expect Forsett to get a shot somewhere in a backup role. At the very least, the team that signs him will have a “freakishly good looking” individual on their side.
