The Baltimore Ravens are on pace for the fewest punts ever in a 16 game season. Sam Koch is one of the better punters in the NFL, but the team hardly uses him. So far, Koch has only punted 22 times through the 11 games, which puts him on pace to punt only 32 times.
Since 1970 there was only one time that a player has punted less than 32 times and that was in 1982 when the season was shortened to only nine games because of the players' strike.
The Ravens have one of the best offenses in the NFL, but coach John Harbaugh is also ultra-aggressive and that has led to the limited punts. Earlier this season, he was questioned by the media about his aggressiveness and he made it very clear the team would continue to do it.

“I know we all felt the same way. Lamar (Jackson) felt the same way. We all did. We’re going to keep playing that way, just for the record. When you write your articles just understand that and we’ll disagree with your criticism. We’re going after it. That’s the way we’re going to play all year.”
The Ravens will look to continue their run of dominant offensive execution when they take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 at M&T Bank Stadium.
