The Baltimore Ravens are lacking in the passing game, but they could be getting some more firepower on Sunday.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Ravens have activated Dez Bryant to the active roster and his debut with Baltimore could happen as soon as Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts.

Bryant himself tweeted that he's “confident” for the impending comeback for the Ravens.

Late last month, the Ravens signed Bryant to their practice squad and he's been practicing with the team as a scout team player. The veteran wideout was brought in as a possible much-needed addition to a passing attack that could use more outside weapons.

Bryant hasn't played in an NFL game since the 2017 season with the Dallas Cowboys. He signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2018, only for him to suffer a season-ending injury in his first practice with them.

In his final season with the Cowboys in 2017, Bryant hauled in 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns. There was once a three-year span in his career from 2012-14 where he had three consecutive seasons of 88-plus receptions, 1,233-plus receiving yards, and 12-plus touchdowns.

While he's no longer the wideout he once was, Bryant could be exactly what the Ravens need this season. Besides Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews, Baltimore doesn't have much to work with in the aerial attack.

The Ravens have been criticized for the lack of passing threat from star quarterback Lamar Jackson's receiving corps. Now we'll see what Bryant has left in the tank if he gets an opportunity to see some snaps versus the Colts.
