First, Lamar Jackson became the Baltimore Ravens' starting quarterback midway through his rookie season. Then, he won the NFL MVP award in his sophomore campaign. Now, he will be gracing the cover of Madden.
What's next for the young star?
Jackson revealed his next goal to Jamison Hensley of ESPN:
“I got to win a playoff game before anything because I’m tired of that already. Once I’m tired of something, I got to make it happen. That's my goal right now.”

The Ravens made the playoffs in each of Jackson's first two seasons, notching a pair of AFC North division titles. Baltimore even finished with a league-best 14-2 record this past year.
However, the Ravens have been eliminated in their opening playoff game both times, first falling to the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card round in January 2019 and then losing to the Tennessee Titans in the Divisional round a few months ago.
Baltimore will enter 2020 as the favorite to win the AFC North division crown for the third straight year. But even if the Ravens achieve that feat, it clearly won't mean much of anything to Jackson unless they advance in the postseason.
Jackson is coming off of a monstrous campaign in which he led the NFL with 36 passing touchdowns and threw for 3,127 yards and six interceptions while completing 66.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 113.3. On top of that, the 23-year-old racked up 1,206 yards and seven scores on the ground, averaging a hefty 6.9 yards per carry.
