Former Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints wide receiver Dez Bryant has not played in a regulation NFL game in two seasons. After parting ways with the aforementioned Cowboys following the conclusion of the 2017-18 campaign, it took Bryant a few months to latch on with another team, which ultimately become the Saints.

However, Bryant encountered some terrible luck during his brief stint in New Orleans as his time with the NFC South franchise last mere days. The veteran pass-catcher infamously tore his Achilles tendon, which obviously ended his time in New Orleans before it even truly began.

Missing the entire 2019-20 season upon thoroughly rehabilitating his injured lower leg, the 31-year-old wideout now appears primed to make his long-awaited return to the gridiron come 2020-21. The question now remains, though, which NFL franchise will bring in Bryant once the current campaign officially comes to an end?

While a few obvious scenarios almost immediately come to mind, Bryant actually helped out the masses with a simple tweet from earlier in the week. According to Bryant, not only is he ready to roll as a legitimate red-zone target for one lucky quarterback, but he already has his sights set on either the Saints, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs or Baltimore Ravens.

Although the Saints, Patriots and Chiefs are all intriguing options, the Ravens might be the most interesting considering what quarterback Lamar Jackson and company have managed to accomplish this season.

With Week 17 slated to serve as a meaningless game for the Ravens as Baltimore only needed 15 regular-season games to officially solidify themselves as the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC playoff picture.

Already revealing that the team's starters with sit against the arch-rival Pittsburgh Steelers this upcoming weekend — the aforementioned Jackson included — it would be difficult for the Ravens to get even better at this points.

Even so, an offseason addition of Bryant would definitely bolster an already potent Ravens offseason, though giving Jackson, who is more than likely going to become the league's MVP for 2019-20 sometime in the very near future, adding more weapons seems like a crime at this point.

Jackson has the unique ability to utilize his running backs, wide receivers and tight ends equally while spreading the field as an equal opportunist. However, a veteran wide receiver like Bryant would give the Ravens a seasoned and knowledge presence both on the field and in the locker room, which is obviously something that could help any NFL franchise.

Obviously giving the team's wide receiver core an immediate boost as well assuming he will be fully healthy by the start of next season, Bryant would be added to a position group already comprised of rookie Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and veteran Willie Snead — among a few others.

With Jackson building a connection with his three tight ends in Hayden Hurst, Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle as well, the addition of Bryant would only give the prolific signal caller even more of an embarrassment of riches to work with.
