The Chicago Bears have signed wide receiver Marvin Hall Jr., according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Hall is one of the fastest players in the league, with Rapoport noting that he was clocked at 23 mph this past season.

Of course, speed doesn't mean much of anything if you can't produce, and Hall's production has been pretty slim since entering the league in 2017.

He spent the 2018 campaign with the Atlanta Falcons, catching just 10 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. He mainly specialized in the kick return game, taking back 26 kicks for 616 yards.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Washington, went undrafted in 2016 but ended up signing with the Oakland Raiders that June.

However, he was waived by the Raiders just before the start of the 2016 campaign, and later that December, he was signed to the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad. He proceeded to ink a reserve/future deal with the club in January 2017, but in May 2017, he was released.

That was when Hall made his way to the Falcons. He spent the first month and change of the 2017 campaign on Atlanta's practice squad, but in mid-October, he was promoted to the active roster. He went on to score his first career touchdown that very next game and finished with two receptions for 60 yards on the season.

The Bears are coming off of a 2018 campaign in which they won 12 games and captured the NFC North division title, making the playoffs for the first time since 2010. They went on to lose to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round.
