The Chicago Bears suffered their third straight loss on Sunday, falling to the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 17-16.
Mitchell Trubisky has been the main target of the blame by many, as he had another lackluster performance with a couple of turnovers to boot.
In a game where your quarterback doesn't play well and your offense only generates 16 points in a one-point defeat, you would usually have a hard time placing the blame on the defense, but don't tell that to Bears pass rusher Khalil Mack:
“I feel like it was on us as a defense. Because we were capable of holding them down,” said Mack, according to Colleen Kane of The Chicago Tribune. “We shouldn’t have let them score 17 points.”
Mack went on to say that Chicago's defense need to take more responsibility in dominating games:

While Trubisky and the Bears' offense is certainly the main culprit (let's be honest), Mack does have a bit of a point.
Chicago's defense is clearly not the same as it was a year ago, when it ranked third in the NFL and was a consistently dominant unit week in and week out.
Not to say that the Bears' defense has been bad this season, as it ranks seventh in the league, but it has absolutely lost some of the edge it had in 2018, and now, with Chicago sitting at 3-4, it might be too late for Mack and Co. to get things turned around.
