The Chicago Bears are hoping to get a winning streak going against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Unfortunately, they have suffered a crucial blow early on with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Trubisky was seen heading to the locker room after being sacked by defensive end Danielle Hunter in the first quarter:
Mitch Trubisky is hurt and out of game; Chase Daniel now in it.

Trubisky was later ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Filling in for Trubisky is backup quarterback Chase Daniel. Fortunately, Daniel has garnered plenty of experience throughout the course of his 10-year career. More importantly, he is already accustomed to the offense after signing a two-year deal to be the backup last offseason.
He has managed to provide the Bears with plenty of bang for their buck after completing 53 of 76 passes for 515 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions after appearing in five games during the 2018 campaign.
The timing of Trubisky's injury is hardly ideal for Chicago. Although they were hoping he could be able to solidify his status as a bonafide franchise quarterback, he had struggled to find his footing thus far after failing to throw for a touchdown in the first two games of the season.
He finally managed to alleviate slow start with a hat track in Week 3, however, he will need to find a way to be much more consistent if he can return healthy.
