The 5-6 Chicago Bears will host the 4-7 Detroit Lions at Soldier Field in Week 13 in a classic NFC North showdown. The two teams met back in Week 1 of the season, with the Bears coming away with a 27-23 win on the road.

Both the Bears and Lions are walking disasters at the moment, so this game is probably going to be ugly from start to finish. Chicago has lost five straight games and boasts arguably the worst offense in the NFL.

The Lions, meanwhile, have lost two straight and are coming off a blowout loss to the hands of the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving. Head coach Matt Patricia was fired, so Darrell Bevell will be the interim coach in Detroit for the rest of the 2020 season.

With the Lions and Bears set to play soon, let's take a look at four bold predictions for the game from a Chicago point of view.

1. Mitchell Trubisky throws 2 TDs, 1 INT

Former No. 2 overall pick Mitchell Trubisky is back under center for the Bears after getting benched in the second half of Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. Nick Foles was hurt last week, so Trubisky made his return to the lineup against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

As everyone in Chicago expected, Trubisky was awful versus Green Bay. The 26-year-old went 26-of-46 for 242 passing yards. Trubisky threw three touchdown passes and two interceptions in the Bears' 45-21 loss.

This is likely going to be Trubisky's last season with the Bears. He's been a bust and Chicago may never recover from selecting him over Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes. However, for whatever reason, Trubisky plays pretty well against the Lions. He's 4-2 versus Detroit and has thrown 14 touchdown passes compared to only four interceptions.

With that being said, we have Trubisky tossing two touchdowns and one interception in Week 13. There won't be any fans at Soldier Field, so Mitch won't have to deal with the crowd booing him.

2. Allen Robinson catches 2 TDs

Allen Robinson was the only player on offense who played well for the Bears against the Packers. He caught eight balls on 13 targets for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Robinson enters Week 13 with 71 receptions on the season for 829 yards and five scores.

Like Trubisky, Robinson will likely be on another team next season. The Bears haven't extended his contract and the star wide receiver liked a series of tweets on Twitter from fans who encouraged him to leave Chicago in free agency after the Bears got smacked by the Packers.

Bears general manager Ryan Pace should be ashamed for not giving Robinson an extension and he deserves all the criticism he's receiving right now from Chicago fans since he's the one who built this team and drafted Trubisky over Watson and Mahomes.

Since Robinson is a Detroit native, he will likely play well against the Lions in Week 13. We have the 27-year-old catching two touchdowns and increasing his career total to six scores against his hometown squad.

3. Bears pick off Matthew Stafford twice

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has faced the Bears 19 times during his career. He has 29 touchdowns, 22 interceptions and a record of 10-9.

Chicago's defense has a history of making things difficult for Stafford and we expect that trend to continue in Week 13.

The Bears' defense got flat-out embarrassed by Aaron Rodgers and the Packers last week. Head coach Matt Nagy called out his defensive players in the media, so we are expecting Chicago's defenders to come out firing against Stafford and the Lions. Look for the Bears to pick off Stafford two times at Soldier Field and set up Trubisky and the offense with good field position.

Chicago's offense is so bad that the defense is under pressure to score touchdowns themselves. Look for Eddie Jackson and Kyle Fuller to make some big plays for the Bears, who are in desperate need of a pick-six.

4. Bears defeat Lions, improve to 6-6

Nagy is 5-0 against the Lions since joining the Bears in 2018. Chicago should have lost to Detroit in Week 1 of the season, but D'Andre Swift dropped the game-winning touchdown to help the Bears escape with the win.

We have Chicago defeating Detroit in Week 13 and improving to 6-6 on the season. Nagy and Pace will still be under fire from the fans in the Windy City, but a win should cool things down a little bit.

The Bears lead the all-time series against the Lions, 102-74-5.

Neither the Bears nor Lions are playing well right now, but Chicago has more playmakers on defense to swing the game in its favor.
