The Chicago Bears have a tough challenge coming up when they face the Minnesota Vikings. These two teams will want to perform to their expected standards and improve their chances of making the playoffs. One of the players hard-pressed to perform well this game is Mitchell Trubisky. He's in his third year starting for the Bears and is yet to fully convince fans that he's the man that can lead the team to a Super Bowl title.
With such thoughts lingering close to his name now, it's become important for Trubisky to showcase his worth against both fans and critics. He has a chance of doing just that when they play the Vikings at Soldier Field.
Here are three things Bears fans could expect out of their QB once they kick it off in the afternoon.
Trubisky will respond to the critics with his play
His harshest critics always have reasons to bring him down a notch or two. They look at the stat sheet and see him being unable to live up to the tag of the second overall pick of the 2017 draft.
Trubisky will surely want to prove them wrong and try to make a fantastic run here. He has to establish himself as a dangerous thrower in the pocket without being distracted by pass rushers and the hostile Bears fans that will troop to Soldier Field.
It will be up to him to break the cycle of hate surrounding him.
Trubisky will break the 300 passing yards landmark this game
While there are plenty of critics that question his ability to pass the football, there are also plenty of fans who believe in him. Believers point to the fact that Rex Grossman was also a problematic QB when the Bears made an appearance in Super Bowl XLI.

Further, Trubisky can more than likely hold his own against Kirk Cousins. He's the perfect opponent to play if he wants to prove himself.
He hasn't broken the 300-yard mark for passing this season. There's no reason to think that he won't aim for this and throw some daring passes to his wideouts.
Trubisky will be able to lead the Bears to a win
The Chicago Bears have a superb defense that will more than likely carry him to victory. However, it's not bad to think that Trubisky will be able to lead the Bears on the offensive end.
Trubisky will want to silence his critics. By putting on a stellar offensive performance, he should be able to lead the Bears to a great 3-1 record.
