In a recent post on Instagram, Ted Ginn Jr. bid his farewell to key members of the New Orleans Saints as he takes the next step of his career.
“Success is a journey, not a destination, and today my journey leads me to Chicago,” said Ginn.
“This journey has blessed me for 14 years, saying bye never gets easier. Damn, NO, ya’ll got soul – there is a reason it’s called #whodat nation.”
Ginn has posted solid numbers of 14.2 yards per reception on a 64.1 percent completion rate since joining New Orleans in 2017. The Saints have made the playoffs in Ginn’s entire duration with the team.
“The game keeps me going, but the people make it worth it. Thanks to the @saints organization and incredible coaching team – S/O @ronaldacurry. @shonrp2 @Jhardee_19 Bless up to @alvinkamara @t_armstead72 and @drewbrees keep doing the hard work.”
A special shoutout was sent to Michael Thomas whom he has bonded with throughout his Saints stint.
“@cantguardmike we came up from the dirt, but everyone likes a good underdog story.”
Ginn has signed a one-year deal with the Bears on Thursday as the latter continues to make tweaks on their offense.

The Saints responded kindly and sent well-wishes to their former wide receiver.

Alvin Kamara was more candid as Ginn makes the Windy City his new home for the foreseeable future.
