With the Cincinnati Bengals Week 9 matchup being against the Cleveland Browns, we'll be witnessing a heated AFC North battle. It should be a solid matchup, as both teams look to gain control in the hunt for the playoffs. Here is our look at the Bengals-Browns game with some of our Bengals Week 9 predictions in mind.

Cincinnati has been a surprise team from the jump. Nobody expected them to be in the playoff race as the team is still so young and unproven. Their defense has stepped up in a big way, which has provided consistency on that end of the field. Even so, the Bengals' offense is what's been shining the most.

The Browns have a solid defense but they could struggle against Cincinnati early on. For Cincy to have control, they'll need Joe Mixon to be at his best. Additionally, we should see Joe Burrow torch Cleveland throughout the evening with Ja'Marr Chase being the main beneficiary. If they can manage that, Cincinnati should be able to run away with an important victory.

With that said, here are four bold Bengals Week 9 predictions for their game against the Browns.

Bengals Week 9 Predictions

4. Joe Mixon racks up 100+ rushing yards and 1 touchdown

It's been a decent year for Joe Mixon so far. He currently has 572 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Additionally, he's been involved in the passing game as well, reeling in an extra 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns through the air. He's been incredibly consistent so far and the Bengals need that from him in this matchup.

It's going to be a tough game for Mixon, as the Browns have one of the better front seven's in the league. Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney have played incredibly well. Cincinnati's best chances to run the ball will be up the middle and between the tackles. We'll see how it plays out, but Mixon will play a vital role in the Bengals game plan on Sunday.

3. Joe Burrow lights up the field for 275+ yards and 4 touchdowns

Many had written off Joe Burrow after his serious knee injury during his rookie campaign. However, he's bounced back in a big way and looks like the franchise quarterback the Bengals believed he could be. Cleveland has a decent defense but their secondary has been exploited often. Look for Burrow to take advantage of the Browns as he'll aim to pick the defense apart with precise throws.

2. Ja'Marr Chase reels in 2 touchdowns

Ja'Marr Chase has been on fire since Week 1 and doesn't look to slow down anytime soon. He's in the running for the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, and for good reason. He has great chemistry with Joe Burrow and we should see that on full display on Sunday against the Browns. If Chase can reel in two touchdown passes, it should be enough for Cincinnati to win the game.

1. Bengals destroy the Browns and earn the victory by a landslide

Typically inter-divisional matchups are close regardless of where each franchise is at in their process. However, based on what's going on in Cleveland, the Browns might have too many distractions for them to focus on the game. For that reason, the Bengals have a solid chance to take advantage and destroy the Browns on Sunday with a big win over an NFC North rival.

We'll see how it plays out, but we could see the Bengals get off to a hot start and never allow the Browns back into this game.
