The 2020 NFL Draft was meant to be held in Las Vegas. Obviously, due to the coronavirus that wasn't the case. Instead, the draft was held virtually.
In 2021, the NFL is hoping that is not the case. And they plan on holding the event in Cleveland.
In fact, the Cleveland Browns took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the official dates for the 2021 NFL Draft.

The league had some big plans set for the 2020 NFL Draft. They were planning on making it the most extravagant draft of all time. It included players arriving to the podium via a boat.
So there's a pretty good chance they will want to find a way to make the 2021 draft feel special as well.
What's funny about that is how popular the 2020 draft was. Everyone seemed to love the format this season. It was quicker and more efficient.

The 2020 NFL Draft was simple. The picks were announced and the players were shown in their homes celebrating with loved ones. Then the panel got to analyze the pick and talk about the player, before moving on to the next selection.
This meant we cut out the whole “player in the green room” situation. At the same time, the players obviously didn't do the whole “walking to the stage” thing. There were also fewer interviews, and the ones we did get were much shorter.
Those weren't the only positives either.
Cleveland and the league will undoubtedly work very hard to make the 2021 NFL draft one to remember though. And let's be honest, whether you are loved or hated the virtual draft, you'll be just as excited in 2021 to watch the event.
