Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been in hot water over the past year due to sexual assault allegations. However, his situation took an uglier turn for the worse on Monday.
NFL writer Kalyn Kahler reported that a 24th plaintiff gave an account of an incredibly disgusting sexual encounter with Deshaun Watson.
24th plaintiff says that she stopped the massage after Watson got an erection, but that he continued to masturbate in front of her and then ejaculated, getting some on her chest and face. She says she quit massage therapy soon after.

A statement was released from the lawyer representing the 24 women with accusations against the QB.

This obviously looks awful from a common decency standpoint. As for the NFL effect, Watson's expected suspension will likely be even longer than originally anticipated following this breaking news.
MLB suspended pitcher Trevor Bauer for two seasons following his sexual assault accusation. MLB's Bauer decision could provide the guidelines for the NFL's suspension of Deshaun Watson.
Although Watson receiving two years still seems somewhat far-fetched, it is not out of the realm of possibility. That would be tragic news for the Cleveland Browns who acquired Watson via trade during the offseason. Meanwhile, it is clear that the Houston Texans dodged a bullet by dealing Watson when they did.
One can only hope that the NFL correctly decides on a worthy punishment for the Browns QB that makes athletes, and all people for that matter, think twice before committing sexual assault in the future. The league has an opportunity to make a big statement with their ruling.
