The Dallas Cowboys displayed the beating of a lifetime against their bitter rival the Washington Football Team. To make matters worse (for Washington) is the game happened on primetime. After a few weeks of playing poorly, Dak Prescott reacts to his bounce-back performance on Sunday Night Football.

After the game ended, Prescott was asked if the Cowboys' slump is finally over. According to Pro Football Talk, Prescott stated, “I think it'd be hard for you to say that now. Yeah, tonight was great. Great performance by the offense. Great performance by the team. We scored in all three phases, scoring by all the different ways that we did on offense. Yeah, a great team win, a great team effort.”

It was quite the shellacking, as the Cowboys routed Washington from the get-go. The Football Team quickly found themselves down 21-0 and never was able to recover. It looked like someone playing Madden 22 on rookie mode as Dallas continuously ran up the score.

Leading up to this game, we haven't seen the Cowboys put on a performance similar to this since the beginning of the season. Dallas is a great team, but they were unquestionably in some sort of funk in the last several weeks. Regardless, it seems the team is back in the groove after clinching the NFC East on Sunday.

We'll see how the postseason plays out, as there are still two more games before the start of the playoffs. The Cowboys have put themselves in a great situation as they're not contending the highest seed possible. Look for Prescott and the rest of the team to continue playing at a high level, as Dallas is a serious Super Bowl contender this year.
