The entire league is waiting for the next thing that will happen to the career of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott after a disappointing campaign in the 2020 season. However, it seems like the decision is a no-brainer to Prescott at all as he already expressed his desires to remain in Texas moving forward.
In fact, fans will only need to look at Prescott's social media activity in order to tell what he has in mind, via RJ Ochoa.
Dallas Cowboys TE Blake Jarwin shared this photo of Dak Prescott on Instagram asking Dak Prescott if he wanted to run it back in a few months.
Dak shared it to his story saying:

The Mississippi State alum was already placed under the Cowboys franchise tag for the 2020 season after failing to advance negotiations with the front office during the offseason. He went on to have a promising start to his campaign but eventually went down with a gruesome season-ending ankle injury in Week 5 against the New York Giants.
Despite the injury, Prescott still has sufficient leverage to potentially land a lucrative deal in the coming offseason. In those five games, the gunslinger recorded a total of 1,856 passing yards along with nine touchdowns. His early showing can tell that he could've done more for the team and possibly brought them to the playoffs if only he didn't suffer the injury in the first place.
Moreover, Prescott is also currently at the peak of his career at the age of 27 which could further factor in Jerry Jones' decision to secure him as their QB1 in the years to come. The ball is now in the Cowboys' court in terms of their contract negotiation with Dak Prescott giving a clear indication of his plans for the years to come.
