The Dallas Cowboys are riding high coming into Week 13. Dallas knocked off Kansas City on Thanksgiving and now has their sights on Detroit ahead of Thursday Night Football. Dallas will have one of their top playmakers at full health for this important NFC showdown.
Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens is off the injury report and should be good to play against the Lions on Thursday, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Pickens had been dealing with calf and knee injuries and was limited during Tuesday's practice.
In other Cowboys injury news, cornerback Trevon Diggs (who is still on injured reserve with a concussion) and offensive lineman Tyler Guyton will both be out in Week 14.
It is great news for Dallas that Pickens will be able to play in Week 14. The veteran wide receiver is in the middle of a breakout season after being traded from Pittsburgh during the offseason.
Pickens already has 73 receptions for 1,142 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, all of which are career bests. He is positioned well to earn a contract extension this offseason.
He could feast against a weak Lions secondary on Thursday night.
Cowboys could improve slim playoff odds with a win on TNF against Lions

The Cowboys are barely alive in the NFC playoff picture. But they can help themselves a lot by beating the Lions on Thursday night.
Dallas has roughly a 20% chance to make the playoffs headed into Week 14 based on multiple projection models. Their best shot is becoming a wild card team since the Eagles have the NFC East essentially locked up.
Detroit is one of those teams that Dallas is competing with for a wild card spot.
A win by the Cowboys would improve their record to 7-5-1 on the season and would drop the Lions to 7-6. Between that and a head-to-head tiebreaker, the Cowboys would effectively pull ahead of the Lions in the NFC playoff standings.
Dallas is already riding a three-game winning streak, and could be set to take another leap forward.
Cowboys at Lions kicks off at 8:15PM ET on Thursday.
