The Dallas Cowboys are facing the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, and both teams are coming off big wins from the previous week. For the Cowboys, their offense has been playing well the past few weeks, and Dak Prescott is playing some of the best football of his career. Of course, his receivers are making his job easier by catching the ball.

George Pickens is one of those receivers, and he's shown throughout his career that he can make plays when he gets going. That's what happened in the first quarter against the Panthers, when he had an impressive hurdle over a defender to gain some extra yards.

Pickens himself knew that the play was impressive and started hyping up the crowd when it was over, even though he was in enemy territory.

Prescott and Pickens have built some solid chemistry with each other through six games, and they've needed each other more than ever with CeeDee Lamb still sidelined. Luckily, it looks like Lamb could be making his return back on the field soon, as he was seen doing some work over the week in practice.

For now, Pickens is the WR1, and he has experience being in that role when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, he's with the Cowboys and making the most of his opportunity.

His targets may go down when Lamb returns, but at least Prescott knows that he has another receiver that he can trust to make a play. The Cowboys seem to be in a groove now after a somewhat slow start to the season, but if the offense can continue to make strides, they should be in good shape.

Pickens has proven to be a key piece for the Cowboys, and they're going to need him if they want to keep winning games.
