Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys were hoping to get back to an even record on Monday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. In a game that they were favored to win, the Cowboys simply did not show up like they needed to. Tennessee was able to take advantage of a poor performance from the Cowboys and won the game by a final score of 28-14.
Following the game, Jones shared his disappointment with the way the team played. Jane Slater of the NFL Network shared a quote from Jones stating that the loss was a step in the wrong direction for the Cowboys.
#Cowboys Jerry Jones says this was really disappointing certainly didn’t see this coming because they had a lot of time to prepare and make changes. It’s a “step back for us”

Dallas fell to 3-5 on the season following the loss, while the Titans improved to 4-4. Both teams have been struggling so far this year, with the Cowboys being the more disappointing of the two.
Article Continues BelowAs has been the case throughout the entire 2018 season thus far, the Cowboys' offense struggled with inconsistency. Dak Prescott did not have a bad game, but the Cowboys were unable to keep pace with the Titans.
Marcus Mariota was able to bounce back with a big game for the Titans. He has struggled so far this season, but completed 21 of his 29 pass attempts for 240 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
Tennessee was also able to force Prescott to turn the football over twice, once via an interception and once via fumble.
Expect to see the Cowboys take this loss seriously and look to bounce back with a big performance next week on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.
