The Los Angeles Rams put on an impressive offensive display in the 38-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night that put their talented team on display as a juggernaut in the NFL.

With that in mind, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stated during an interview on Friday morning on 105.3 The Fan that he sees plenty of similarities between the Cowboys and Rams offenses, according to Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News.

This is certainly an extremely high level of confidence that Jones has in Prescott's ability, but he hasn't shown anywhere the type of production and ability that Goff has shown orchestrating arguably the league's most potent offense.

The former Cal product has taken another tremendous leap forward in his maturation as a quarterback in his third with more command and confidence in his ability on the field. He had made numerous impressive throws in the game that saw him thread the needle on many of his touchdown passes that were on-point accurate throws.

Goff had the best performance of his NFL career posting career-bests with 465 passing yards, five touchdowns, and a perfect 158.3 passer rating. The Vikings simply had no answer for him defensively throughout the night as he tied a franchise record in touchdown passes in a single game while he had three of his receivers in Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp all go over 100 receiving yards. Not to mention that star running back Todd Gurley went well over 100 yards from scrimmage in the contest.

There is simply great complexity and uniqueness to the offensive scheme that the Rams have along with highly-talented players taking that to the next level. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have been among the least productive teams in the league with Prescott passing for 170 yards or fewer while the Cowboys are second-to-last in the league with 13.7 points per game.

At this juncture, it is more like night and day between the two offenses. It is simply to difficult to see the similarities between the two units, which make these comments seem like it is more support and a strong belief in Prescott being their long-term answer under center.
