Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones always seems to have his hand in everything that has to do with the NFL. This time around, he is heavily involved in a crucial discussion for the future of the NFL.

According to ProFootballTalk, Jones is playing a big role in the current CBA talks between the NFL's Player Association and the NFL. The Cowboys' owner has been vocal and is driven to be the one who gets the deal done.

The last time the NFL underwent talks, it came after a lockout that lasted four months in 2011. Robert Kraft was the one who was vital to the lockout ending, but Jones apparently wants his name stamped on this one.

Both sides just began talking, so it's unlikely a deal will be reached in the immediate future. Plus, there is the awkwardness of Jones being in the same room as Roger Goodell after calling the commissioner out a couple of years ago.

For now, both Jones and Goodell have seemingly put their differences aside. Nonetheless, this is yet another important discussion that Jones is smack dab in the middle of, whether for better or worse.

Recently, Jones has been vital to different rule changes and discussions about player safety. Furthermore, Jones was also essential to the Rams being able to move to Los Angeles in the first place. The Rams plan on moving to their new stadium in 2020.

For now, Jones seems to be the voice that is echoing throughout the room in CBA talks, but whether that seals a deal that benefits both sides remains to be seen.
