Representatives from the Dallas Cowboys and the other 29 NFL teams took part in the 2022 NFL Combine. Coaches and front office staff from across the league came to Indianapolis for the week-long event ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft. However, longtime Cowboys general manager Jerry Jones didn't make the trip.

The 79-year-old GM is dealing with a minor medical problem that kept him from attending. Pro Football Talk tweeted the news Friday afternoon.

Pro Football Talks' Charean Williams reported that Jones usually holds a media session with beat writers in his “luxury bus” towards the end of the Scouting Combine. That won't be the case this year.

The Cowboys have not released any details on Jones' medical issue, only publicizing that it is minor. Meanwhile, Jones is also reportedly dealing with “some NFL business involving commissioner Roger Goodell.” Cowboys reporter Calvin Watkins tweeted the news Friday afternoon.

This is just a few days after new allegations surfaced regarding the $2.4 million settlement to his cheerleaders.

The Cowboys have a lot to figure out on the field this offseason. The team is full of potential, but nothing ever seems to come to fruition.
