The Denver Broncos decided to trade wide receiver Demaryius Thomas to the Houston Texans. and it appears his teammate Von Miller is upset. Miller tagged Thomas in the tweet with the caption “ima cry in the car…” The post also included a crying emoji.
@DemaryiusT ima cry in the car… 😢

The Broncos traded Thomas to the Texans for a fourth-round pick while swapping seventh-round picks. Thomas has been a big part of the Broncos since he was taken in the first round in the 2010 draft and will go down as one of the best wide receivers in team history when he retires.
The deal was a financial decision, as the Broncos can save up to $18 million next year in salary cap space. After the trade, Broncos GM John Elway released a statement praising Thomas for his time with the Broncos. Via BroncosWire:
Demaryius had an incredible run here and we can’t thank him enough for everything he’s meant to the Broncos. He developed into an elite player over the years, establishing himself as one NFL’s most productive, consistent and reliable wide receivers. D.T. was a big part of so many wins and memorable moments as a Bronco. Although it’s tough to end this chapter, we’re excited about the talent we have at the wide receiver position and wish Demaryius all the best with the Texans.
This trade appears to be a win for both sides. The Broncos get extra cap space and a draft pick, and the Texans get another receiver after Will Fuller went down with a season-ending injury in their last game.
