Last year, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller organized a quarterback's worst nightmare in the form of a “pass rush summit.” Now it appears he is looking to keep it going every offseason from here on out.

Miller started the festivities along with Atlanta Falcons linebacker Vic Beasley. According to ESPN's Jeff Legwold, he has already gotten a head start on the invites for this year's summit:

“I've got some guys coming already,” Miller said Tuesday after the Broncos' on-field work in the second week of OTAs. “Some guys said they were coming, but I don't want to say their names yet. You know how it is, got big-money guys … when they commit to something two months out.”

Miller even compared the process to superheroes assembling randomly.

“I just call guys from around the league. It's a small fraternity of the guys,” Miller said. “… Justin Houston, I just call him and tell him to invite Dee Ford and the other guys. Andre Branch with the Miami Dolphins, I just call him and tell him to invite all the guys. Arik Armstead and Cassius Marsh with the San Francisco 49ers, they were already there last year, tell them to invite the other guys.

“You put the word out, it's just like the Justice League,” Miller added. “They just come out of nowhere.”

It is refreshing to see that skill players are not the only ones that can get some serious work in during the offseason. Quarterback camps and 7-on-7 tournaments have become a common occurrence for young football players in recent years. However, very seldom are their activities for the big men up front.

‘Given the aerial approach that so many offenses take in today's NFL, pass-rushers have become the second-biggest commodity behind quarterbacks. That said, it is easy to see where the interest in such a camp would come from. Furthermore, one would be hard-pressed to find a better group of teacher's than the ones that plan on appearing at Miller's event.

He will be hosting the festivities from June 27-29 at the Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri. Aside from current players, former NFL stars like DeMarcus Ware and Warren Sapp are also expected to be in attendance.
