The Denver Broncos are going to be an intriguing team to keep an eye on this coming offseason. After missing the playoffs, John Elway is dedicated to getting the team back on the right track. Vance Joseph was fired from his head coaching position and Elway went out to bring in Vic Fangio as the new head coach.

Now, the Broncos are going to focus on improving their roster. Offensively, they will want to bring in more firepower for quarterback Case Keenum to work with.

According to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Broncos are planning to make a run at acquiring superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brown would be a huge upgrade for the Broncos at the wide receiver position. They made the move to trade Demaryius Thomas ahead of the NFL trade deadline to the Houston Texans. Denver also saw Emmanuel Sanders go down with an injury late in the season.

During the 2018 season with the Steelers, Brown ended up catching 104 passes for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns. Unfortunately, reports came out in the final week of the season that he was unhappy and disgruntled. Trade rumors have since taken over the NFL news cycle.

Pittsburgh is going to have a high asking price for Brown. Plenty of teams will want to acquire him, but will be unable to afford the price. Brown seems likely to end up traded, but the Steelers will not hesitate to hold on to him if they do not receive the kind of offer they're wanting.

Denver may not be a contender with the roster they currently have, but a move for Brown would take them closer to their goal of getting back into Super Bowl contention.
