The Detroit Lions are looking to resume their strong start to the season by beating the Green Bay Packers. However, head coach Matt Patricia is still tense about facing one of the league's top teams.
The Lions head coach talked to Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press about his team's chances against their upcoming opponents. This was a curious question as his Lions swept the Packers last season in their NFC North Division games.
He revealed that he's still not fully confident when it comes to facing a team with such a superb QB in Aaron Rodgers:

“So from my standpoint it’s all about trying to prepare and get ready this year and the things that they’re doing this year. Certainly they’re in a really good spot and they’re operating at a very high level, so we’ve got a big task in front of us.”
It's understandable why the former New England Patriots defensive coordinator be nervous about the Packers this time around. Four of their last five games were overwhelmingly in favor of the Lions. Detroit managed to score at least 30 points in all of those games.
Moreover, the Packers have seemingly found their groove under Matt LaFleur. Green Bay will be headache for them to deal with if an outstanding Packers side shows up.
All the Lions can do is buckle up for a long game and look for ways to victory. They have a shot of extending their winning streak against the Packers, and Patricia can definitely bring them there.
