Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford could be a game-time decision for his team's Week 10 matchup with the Chicago Bears on Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Stafford, who is currently listed as questionable, has been dealing with hip and back issues throughout the week and was limited in practice.

The veteran is coming off of a strong Week 9 performance in which he completed 26 of his 41 throws for 406 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in a heartbreaking loss to the Oakland Raiders.

On the season overall, Stafford has been terrific, throwing for 2,499 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 64.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 106. He also leads the NFL with 312.4 passing yards per game.

Stafford, who played his collegiate football at the University of Georgia, was originally selected by the Lions with the first overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft.

He made 10 starts in what was a miserable rookie campaign, as he threw 13 touchdowns as opposed to 20 interceptions. Injuries then limited him to just three games during his second season.

However, in his third year, Stafford broke out, starting all 16 games and throwing for 5,038 yards, 41 touchdowns and 16 picks while completing 63.5 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 97.2.

While the 31-year-old has been a rather steady presence under center for Detroit, he has yet to have a season like that since — although he may be on his way to having a similar campaign this year.

The Lions are 3-4-1 and are seeing their playoff hopes fade in the NFC.
